We are an independent Seattle based production company here to help local businesses and nonprofits in the Pacific Northwest share and amplify their stories through video production and photography.
Job Description
We are looking for compassionate creatives who can work closely with our director to capture stunning B-Roll and talking head interviews for documentary shorts and commercial productions for our Northwest clients. We run very small, fun & fast moving crews of 2-3 people and we all wear lots of hats–be prepared to be fluid on set and willing to jump into many roles and positions where support is needed!
Pay Range - $450/day (Nonprofit Clients) - $600/day (Business Clients)
What You’ll Be Doing
Setting up lights, camera, sound equipment.
Running interview cameras.
Monitoring Sound. (No Mixing)
Shooting B-Roll alongside our director.
Shooting B-Roll independently on 2nd unit teams.
Managing Media and Battery Power on set.
Leading collaboratively with our PA’s.
Engaging warmly with crew, client, and talent.
Bringing creative ideas to set.
What You Should Have
Experience with Sony A7siii / Sony Fx6
Experience lighting interview subjects and working with natural light and modifiers.
Experience pulling focus, setting up wireless monitor systems, etc.
Requirements
At least 3 years of camera operating experience.
Proof of prior experience (Reel or personal work samples).
Comfortable moving equipment up to 50lbs.
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
NOTE: Due to the vulnerable populations we come into contact with throughout the year, proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required for any and all Tideway positions.
